Every note starts here. **Sapling** Does it contain all the context required to stay alive for a couple weeks? Does it have at least one backlink from another [[Zettel]]? **Small tree** Have at least one parent note that has good logical link to this note. It also has roots up the tree if necessary. It might be most closely related to a branch of a branch of a branch. But it might be also useful to mention this note a bit higher up the tree. **Tree** Is it well structured and nice to look at? Does it have multiple roots (backlinks) and branches (forward links)? **Fruit** Would you feel like calling this a finished article?
